CJ Patterns Inset Jacket

I intended to post photos of this jacket yesterday when I got home from church. But, my family went to brunch afterwards, and one of my grandsons smeared his baby-food covered mouth all over one sleeve. Then the other grandson, while sitting on my lap, managed to get gooey cheese omelet down the front of the jacket. It's okay though. I got home, rubbed some spot remover into the garment and washed it.

This is a very drapey, unstructured jacket. Lightweight, flowey. Love it! These pictures do not do it justice.

There is an upper and lower bodice. Pleats front and back on the lower bodice. Ties at CF. Dropped sleeve, 3/4 length. The fabric is beige/black print Tencel. I love Tencel. This fabric is soft, drapable and perfect for this type of top. I will make this again, probably in the fall. I'm thinking a solid color with matching pants. As long as it's washable!

I made some changes to my jean pattern, and am cutting them out today. I'm making a pair from very dark blue stretch denim. I have white denim in the wash to make a pair. I'd like to try a few other jeans patterns, but since I have one fit, I hesitate to start over again with the fitting process. KNIM?

There's a long holiday weekend coming up. My DH will be in the hopsital, so that takes care of my plans.
