Info Post
I finally got in a whole sewing day.  It was wonderful!  I'm working on my red duster and made a lot of progress today.  I should be able to finish it tomorrow--Saturday, latest.  So far, so good.

Creative Clothing Club met Tuesday.  Our guest speaker was BarbCallahan, of barboriginals.com.  She's from Florida.  Some of you may have met her a sewing expos.  Barb does "artsy" type clothing--  She has a line of patterns also--simple, loose-fitting garments which she embellishes..  Barb is a very entertaining speaker, and she had a great trunk show.  I picked up several good ideas along with three of her patterns.

The coat is called Tea Garden, made from fleece.  The other two patterns are tunics.  Unfortunately, the photographs don't represent the garments very well.   They look entirely different up close and in person.

Last week Simplicity was on sale at Jos.  Not wanting to be left out of a sale, I picked up these tunic patterns.

And, I found Tshirt knits that were 50% off.  Couldn't resist those.

These probably won't be made this year because I already have made several Ts, and have a few cut and still waiting to be sewn.  But, there's always next summer.

Hopefully, I'll have another good sewing today tomorrow.  I'm anxious to get that duster finished so, 1) I can wear it and  2) so I can move on to making a tunic.  Or whatever.
