"----I shall wear purple, with a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me".(Jenny Joseph)
And so shall my blog! It asked for a face-lift. In doing so, most of my side-bar information was gone, and it took a while to set everything back up. Thank you all for commenting on my purses. I appreciate the interaction.
Along the same lines, I finally went to the play, "Menopause", with my daughter and a couple of friends. I may be one of the few left on the planet who hadn't seen it. It was hilarious! DD laughed until she wept all the mascara off her lashes and onto her face. It was exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it.
A couple of days ago, I made a trip to Jo's. Unfortunately, there are no quality fabric stores anywhere near me. Very thankful for online shopping. Still, Jo's is great for pattern sales, and I'm not a fabric snob. Cheap, expensive--I've used it all.
This is what I bought. Three Vogue patterns, on sale this week. I saw these on your blogs--oh how you tempt me! I am shameless.
There's a piece of black gab, which will be pants. The green with white circles is poly, which will make a blouse. There's a blue/white stripe cotton shirting also for a blouse.
I'm going to get started on something today. Maybe something purple?
